Steps to Financial Aid Apply for Scholarships

When completing the Sandhills application, select Veterinary Medical Technology.  Your major at Sandhills will be the Associate of General Education-Health Partnership, and you'll be able to take the general and prerequisite courses needed before you transfer to Central Carolina Community College.

Meet with April Ikner, Director of Onboarding & Engagement, to confirm your program selection and complete a Letter of Intent.  Once you've done this, you'll be assigned to a Sandhills advisor who is familiar with the CCCC program requirements and can help you select courses.

When you are ready to apply to CCCC, Sandhills will send your official transcripts for you.  While the courses you take at Sandhills will transfer to CCCC, admission to the Dental Assisting program is not guaranteed.
