Software purchases that carry with them the need to address accessibility will be reviewed for Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) compliance.
鈥淎 Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT鈩�) is a document that explains how information and communication technology (ICT) products such as software, hardware, electronic content, and support documentation meet (conform to) the Revised 508 Standards for IT accessibility. VPATs鈩� help Federal agency contracting officials and government buyers to assess ICT for accessibility when doing market research and evaluating proposals.鈥�
Such purchases must be cleared through the 麻豆视频 Chief Information Officer.
