5.4 Appointment, Separation, and Re-Employment

Full-time employees will be hired and contracted for a specific length of time within a fiscal year. Part-time employees are employed for a specific period of time within a fiscal year on a part-time temporary basis.

The President may transfer, promote, reassign, or demote any Â鶹ÊÓƵ employee. There is no implication or commitment of continued employment beyond the ending date specified in the employment agreement. A decision by the College not to re-employ is not subject to the Grievance Procedures.
